To create an account with the State Bank of India (SBI), you can follow these steps:
1. Visit the Nearest SBI Branch:
Documents Needed:

Address Proof: Aadhaar card, utility bills, rent agreement, etc.
Photographs: Passport-sized photos (usually 2-3 copies).
PAN Card (mandatory for KYC purposes).
Process:
Collect an account opening form from the bank.
Fill out the form carefully, attach the required documents, and submit it to the bank.
2. Open Account Online via SBI's Website:
Visit the SBI Yono website or download the YONO SBI app.
Register yourself by providing your mobile number and email.
Select the type of account you wish to open (Savings, Salary, etc.).
Upload the required documents (scanned copies of your ID proof, address proof, PAN, etc.).
Complete the Aadhaar-based e-KYC or request a visit from a bank official for verification.
After verification, you’ll get your account details and can start using SBI's services.
3. Open a Digital Savings Account (Insta Savings Account):
You can open an Insta Savings Account digitally without visiting the branch.
This account is Aadhaar-based, and you can complete the process through the YONO app.
e-KYC will be done using your Aadhaar and OTP verification.
Once your account is successfully created, you will receive your passbook, debit card, and other relevant account details.
